If you allow God to come closer to you it will become clear the sorrows you endure now are the means by which God will bring you closer to Himself. Loss, especially at a young age, opens the door to the great questions of life, the deeper questions.
Far too often people skate on the surface of life and do not understand why their lives are not full. Take a look at the memories, not only the losses, but those that are cherished.
Memories of the past where you sense the good can become windows of the future in that they participate in God as its source. They can become windows to the future of expectations with those you lost in this life.
